Sathya Vijayendran started out in 3D animation and visual effects at Natural Nylon Productions in 1999, working on projects for Court TV, MSG, and Reuters. He then worked at Advance Visuals (pharmaceutical videos), N9 Productions (runway fashion content), and ABC News, editing news packages for GMA Weekend and 20/20.
In 2007 he started Grand illusion Productions to focus on content creation and support media campaigns. Currently he produces corporate marketing content for CA Technologies, Pfizer, L'Oreal USA and JP Morgan-Chase.
In 2017, Sathya will produce two web series projects and finish restoring his 1947 Chevrolet Fleetmaster Coupe.
Sathya works on the Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere editing systems, builds motion graphics in Adobe After Effects and models with Maya.
